Google is going to stop using a tool from Apple that was used to personalize ads in its iPhone apps such as Maps and YouTube. This is being done to avoid a new Apple warning that notified people that they were being tracked. Apple is planning to introduce new tracking transparency rules. A unique identifier called IDFA is provided to apps by Google in order to help them in linking the same user across multiple programs.
