Amid the ongoing US-China tensions that intensified after the enforcement of the contentious National Security Law in Hong Kong by CCP, social media giant Facebook has halted the project for laying a trans-Pacific undersea cable to the erstwhile autonomous territory. "We look forward to working with all the parties to reconfigure the system to meet the concerns of the US government," a Facebook spokesperson said.
