US government unlikely to give Huawei another 90-day reprieve

US government is reportedly not to renew the temporary waiver which now allows Huawei to continue business with US-based firms. At present, Huawei is a few weeks into the second 90-day reprieve from the repercussions after included in the so-called Entity List. The 90-day reprieve permits Huawei to handle certain types of business it can’t do if the ban is fully active. The current reprieve will end on November 19.
