US government sues Google over alleged digital advertising monopoly

The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and eight states have filed an antitrust lawsuit against Google, accusing the company of monopolizing the digital advertisement market. The states that have joined DOJ in the suit include New York, California, Colorado, and Virginia, among others. Together, they aim to "unwind Google's monopolistic grip and restore competition to digital advertising."
