A dinosaur relative of T.rex and Velociraptor with an unusually long neck has been found in Victoria. The elaphrosaur was a member of theropod family of dinosaurs which included all predatory species. They were quite rare with only 3 named species from Tanzania, China and Argentina. The lead researcher Stephen Poropat says this is the 1st record of the group in Australia & only the 2nd Cretaceous record worldwide.
