UN appreciates and thanks India for installing solar panels at its headquarters in New York

UN appreciated India's move of installing 195 solar panels in its headquarters at New York. These solar panels can generate clean solar power up to 50 Kilowatt (KW). Receiving this goodwill gift from India, the secretary-general, António Guterres tweeted ”Climate Action begins at home. I thank the Indian government and people for their generous contribution to solar panels and a green roof at UN headquarters in New York”.
