TikTok's owner ByteDance accuses Facebook of plagiarism

Amid the restrictive action taken by several countries against TikTok, the company's Chinese firm ByteDance has accused the social media giant Facebook of plagiarism and smears. "We have faced all kinds of complex and unimaginable difficulties, including the tense international political environment, collision and conflict of different cultures and plagiarism and smears from competitor Facebook," the company said in a statement.
