The US secretary of commerce Wilbur Ross said 'there is not a lot US or NASA can do to help figure out what went wrong with Chandrayaan-2 lander Vikram'. ISRO lost contact with Vikram during its final descent & is unable to re-establish contact. The chances are bleak now as its night in South Pole of Moon where temperatures go up to minus 200° C & Vikram is not likely to survive the cold due to lack of heating apparatus onboard.
