DoorDash today announced that 4.9 million users were affected by a security breach. An unlicensed third party acquired access to data relating to DoorDash users on or before 5 April 2018, including buyers, delivery people and traders who joined the platform. The accessed info included names, email addresses for deliveries, order history, phone numbers and passwords that were encoded using hazing strategies.
