The astronomers concentrated on Palomar 5, an 11.5 billion-year-old globular cluster in the Milky Way's halo in the Serpens constellation. The researchers published their findings in the journal Nature Astronomy on July 5. The researchers discovered that when it came to globular clusters in the Milky Way's outer halo, the half that is comparable to Palomar 5 may face a similar black-hole-dominated destiny.
