Scientists from the Salk Institute in Spain successfully created the world's 1st Human-Monkey embryo in China to avoid legal issues, flagging a way towards using animals for human organ transplants. They genetically modified monkey embryos to deactivate genes that are vital to the organ formation & then injected human stem cells. But, they halted the process before embryo formed a CNS as it was in violation of Spanish law.
