Sony's phone shipments continue to fall

Sony continues to lose its ground in the smartphone market. It’s recent financial report states it shipped just 900,000 phones in April-June timeframe, the lowest in the past 9 years. Only a year ago Sony had 2 million phone shipments for the exact period which itself was a low point comparing 2014 when Sony was close to the 10 million mark. Sony Mobile believes it can only ship 4 million phones by the end of 2019.
