Solar panels to be installed at the top of Rajiv Gandhi Lift Canal, other reservoirs in Rajasthan

In a bid to reduce carbon waste, the Rajasthan government is going to install solar panels on top of the Rajiv Gandhi Lift Canal (RGLC) and other large reservoirs across the state. According to Rajesh Yadav, the department principal secretary solar panels will be installed on the 190-km long Rajiv Gandhi Lift Canal in Jodhpur region and other large reservoirs. The capacity of the solar plant is expected to be 75-kilo watt.
