SoftBank to launch second $108 Billion vision fund

SoftBank has received a commitment for approximately $108 Billion for its new fund SoftBank Vision Fund 2. They have announced that the objective of the fund is to accelerate the Artificial Intelligence revolution through its investments in leading tech-enabled companies. Their investors include Apple, Microsoft Corp, Mizuho Bank and many other major participants. SoftBank has written several big cheques to the startups, globally.
