Scientists showcase 3D-printed house made out of bio-based materials

Researchers from the US-based university have unveiled BioHome3D, the first 3D-printed house made entirely with bio-based materials. The University of Maine's Advanced Structures and Composites Center (ASCC) has created this first 3D-printed home, according to an official report. The 600-square-foot prototype has 3D-printed floors, walls, and a roof made of wood fibres and bio-resins.
