An Indian researcher Dr Subhabrata Sen recently created a molecule that can be developed into a drug that can cure ARDS in COVID-19 patients, has said that the novel coronavirus behaves weirdly. He adds that SARS-COV2 appears to have more intelligence than other viruses. Sen's team found a set of new chemical entities with an ability to cure ARDS or ALI or other SARS & MERS caused by coronaviruses.
