Russian Space Systems creates recycling system for decommissioned satellites

In a recent development, the Russian Space Systems has created a recycling system which will be able to hold decommissioned satellites in the Earth's orbit to crush and process them into fuel. Project Developer and RSS Research Engineer Marina Barkova said that the space debris disposal system, weighing about 2.5 tonnes, has the capacity to capture decommissioned small satellites in low orbits.
