NASA couldn't photograph or locate Chandrayaan 2 lander Vikram that went silent during India's mission to the Moon. 10 days after Vikram went silent, NASA sent its lunar orbiter to fly over to the Chandrayaan 2 lander's landing site to locate it. However, the photos were shot when it was dusk on the Moon and large shadows covered the region and as a result, the fate of Vikram lander couldn't be determined.
