Polish government working on legislation to restrict powers of social media platforms

Amid the rising concerns over the privacy of citizens worldwide due to the rising power of social media platforms, the Polish government has decided to work on legislation that will limit the power of key social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. As per the new law, the social media firms will be able to take action on only those accounts or social media posts that break Polish law.
