Although several states are considering the use of plasma therapy to treat critically ill coronavirus patients, medical experts say that convalescent plasma therapy is no magic bullet to deal with coronavirus. They believe only large-scale controlled trials can determine its efficacy as part of the treatment strategy. Even the health ministry has warned against its use as the treatment is still in an experimental stage.
