Just like Instagram, a 'photos-only' mode is under testing for FB's mobile application that will allow users to see algorithmically suggested photos in a feed. TechCrunch reported that the result is an experience that's similar to Instagram feed. A mode was spotted in Oct & trial has since concluded. The new feature named 'Popular Photos' is being worked on with future tests in mind. The company refused to reveal more details.
