Pentagon's research arm, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, is working on innovative textiles to better and more comfortably protect humans from chemical and biological threats. DARPA is rapidly producing wearable technology inspired by shark’s skin that stops threatening agents from entering the body with cutting-edge barriers to neutralize damaging agents affecting people’s skin, eyes and airways.
