Paytm, ShareChat, and Khabri back government's ban on Chinese apps

India-based applications like Paytm, ShareChat, and Khabri have backed the Indian government's decision to impose a ban on 59 Chinese apps including TikTok. "This is a welcome move from the government against platforms that have had serious privacy, cybersecurity and national security risks. We expect the government to continue their support for the Indian startup ecosystem" Berges Malu, Director-Public Policy, ShareChat said.
