Starlink, a unit of SpaceX, is in negotiations with a number of airlines about providing in-flight Wi-Fi. Between Musk's Starlink line and the growing sector of low-orbit satellite internet providers, the rivalry is strong. New challengers include Jeff Bezos' Amazon's mega-constellations and the UK's OneWeb, which has deployed 182 satellites. SpaceX seems to be confident in its ability to outlive its more established rivals.
