A new study named DISCOVER (DIagnostic and Severity markers of COVID-19 to Enable Rapid triage) aims to identify markers that can predict how COVID-19 affects. Researchers from the University of Bristol are mainly focused on blood-based biomarkers including suPAR and how they predict a patient’s disease course and control immune system along with demographic factors like age, sex and other medical conditions.
