A planet similar to Neptune has been spotted by scientists, that circles a nearby star that is still surrounded by a disk of debris leftover from its formation. The planet has been spotted using NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) and retired Spitzer Space Telescope. The planet completes a revolution around the young star AU Microscopii in just a week. The planet weighs less than 58 times Earth's mass.
