The ambitious joint project of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to capture the first-ever high-resolution images of planet earth using a radar satellite is likely to get delayed by seven months. The cost of the mission is also estimated to be increased by a whopping $36 million. The project is named NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR)
