A team of astronomers backed by NASA and led by Indian scientist Vithal Tilvi has discovered a galaxy group named EGS77. According to NASA, It is the farthest and first galaxy group caught in the act of clearing out the cosmic fog. The scientists found that the galaxies are members of a sweeping cosmic makeover called reionisation. EGS77 galaxy group shows the specific wavelengths of far-ultraviolet light revealed by reionisation.
