NASA satellite image captures the devastating Australian wildfires

The deadly impacts of the Australian wildfires can now be seen in new satellite images from NASA and European Space Agency. One-third of the Kangaroo has been devastated by the fires raging the continent, as shown in the snaps from NASA's Terra satellite. Images captured by the MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) show areas of deposited charcoal and ash and removal or alteration of vegetation.
