A mysterious cavern under the surface of Mars might be hiding alien life, scientists have claimed. A crater on the dusty slopes of Mars' Pavonis Mons volcano was spotted by scientists as a prime spot for extraterrestrials. NASA says it may be a 35-meter across opening to underground cavern. An image of the hole was first discovered by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter in 2011, and since then scientists are studying it.
