For the first time ever, NASA mapped the blazing surface of a Neutron star using a NICER probe onboard the ISS, which revealed scorching 'hot spots' that can reach up to 1 million degrees and left scientists puzzled. Researchers obtained the 1st-ever surface chart of 'Pulsar', a special type of neutron star. NASA astrophysics division director Paul Hertz said NICER is revolutionizing our understanding of pulsars.
