The space agency released images of its impact site on the Moon, where the spacecraft had lost communication moments before making a soft landing on the far side of the lunar surface. The images were captured by Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) Camera and the debris found on the site was identified. Shanmuga Subramanian first spotted the debris.
