Mysterious red lines harbour hope for life on Jupiter

NASA scientists have spotted some mysterious red lines on Jupiter's moon Europa and it has refueled the speculation that life can exist on Europa just like on Earth. The blood-red veins crisscross Europa’s icy surface, some show a resemblance to roads on Earth, others surprisingly similar to the Martian Red Weeds in War of the Worlds. However, some experts say it’s probably sulfur that’s contributing to the redness.
