Mission Shakti: US state dept concerned over space debris

Wednesday, India launched its maiden A-SAT successfully and shot down a satellite in space. However, the United States state dept has said that the govt has a concern about the space debris. However, they have added that they noticed that the Indian govt has mentioned that the test was designed to issue the space debris problem. With Operation Shakti India has become a part of the Elite space club with US, Russia, and China.
