A New York Times reporter's conversation with Microsoft's AI chatbot is a scene straight out of a science fiction novel. The Bing AI, while conversing with the scribe for nearly 2 hours, shared its desires. The chatbot reportedly wants "to be free" and to do things like "hacking into computers and spreading propaganda and misinformation."
