MediaTek to release its 5G chipset this month

Huawei, Samsung and Qualcomm have already unveiled their chipsets with 5G modem support, and now MediaTek is following the same path. The Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer has announced the new 5G AI product will arrive later this month. Interestingly, Helio M70 was initially introduced as the 5G platform by the company, but it’s still to arrive officially. The top priority for MediaTek is a new flagship with 5G+AI.
