Man allegedly scammed Amazon out of Rs 2.5 crores by returning packages filled with dirt

In a biggest ever Amazon scam in Europe and the second biggest worldwide, an unnamed man from Palma de Mallorca in Spain reportedly scammed Amazon to the tune of $3,70,000 (Rs 2.5 crores) by sending back parcels to Amazon filled with dirt that matched the original weight of the good and then requesting for refunds. Amazon detected this fraud while conducting a random search in one of the company’s warehouses.
