Longtime mystery of the cosmos solved by US scientists

In a major achievement, a team of astrophysicists in United States has solved a longtime mystery of the cosmos by determining the total amount of matter in the Universe, to the most precise value ever. The scientists have found in their study that matter accounts for 31.5% of the total amount of matter and energy that the Universe is made up of. The remaining 68.5% is dark energy that is causing the expansion of the Universe.
