A regional newspaper in India, Kalakaumudi in Malayalam, has come up with a startling disclosure that the launch of GSAT-1 was stalled due to pressure from the US. It said the decision was taken at the behest of PM Modi's office. The order to stall the launch was communicated just 10 mins before the launch after due approval from ISRO and still, there has been no update about the next launch date.
