Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) shared the first illuminated image of the lunar surface acquired by Imaging Infrared Spectrometer (IIRS) payload on its Twitter account on Thursday. IIRS is designed to measure reflected sunlight from the lunar surface in narrow and contiguous spectral channels, ISRO added. This image came 20 days after ISRO releases the image captured by the Chandrayaan-2's Orbiter.
