ISRO launches India's 3rd eye CARTOSAT-3, 13 commercial nano-satellites of US from Sriharikota

Content TeamThe Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) launched the CARTOSAT-3 satellite through the PSLV-C47 rocket from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. CARTOSAT-3 advanced earth observation satellite is also called India's 3rd eye as the satellite's cameras offer a ground resolution of 25 cm - this means it can pick up an object of a minimum of that size from a height of around 500 km.
