Iran plane crash wreckage spotted from space

Satellites have identified the wreckage from the Ukrainian airliner that was shot down in Iran. The photos were captured by WorldView-1 and WorldView-2 satellites, operated by DigitalGlobe, a subsidiary of Maxar Technologies. The plane, a Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 had 176 passengers on board and all were killed. Both of these spacecraft can take images with a sharp-eye resolution of about 18 inches.
