Instagram, Facebook down globally; Users take to Twitter to complain

Amid a major Thanksgiving outage, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger have gone down worldwide. Many users claim that they are unable to refresh their feeds or upload photos or videos. Meanwhile, users took to Twitter to complain against this outrage with hashtags such as #instagramdown and #facebookdown. It is not clear if the outage was across the platform or only a group of users were facing the issue.
