Indian govt to imply tax on foreign e-commerce firms, streamers and advertisers

Indian govt is going to propose a tax on overseas companies that advertise, stream and sell goods online targeting customers in India. The digital tax framework is currently being discussed at the OECD and once it is finalized and the government will implement it. Last year, OECD proposed regulation of taxation of digital companies for a fair allocation of taxing rights and to make profits from the giant multinationals.
