India's ambitious dream of becoming self-reliant is about to get a major push as the country expects indigenously built supercomputers by the year-end or early next year. India's National Supercomputing Mission has identified high computing network infrastructure to boost production and encourage private players to become a part of the movement. NSM aims to install 45 petaflops of high-performance computing capacity in the nation.
