India 9th among Top 20 most spammed countries in 2020: Truecaller Report

Despite a reduction in the amount of spam calls, India still made it into the top 10 most spammed countries in 2020, a new Truecaller report said. In the first three months of the lockdown in India, calls to emergency services spiked by 148%. Only 3 years ago, India ranked as the most spammed country in the world. This year, India is at 9th spot in the list of 20 most affected countries, topped by Brazil and followed by the US.
