For the first time, using data from NASA's MAVEN spacecraft the researchers have created a wind map of Mars. It will help them to understand the behavior of the Martian climate in a better way and to discover more about it. The goal is to study what is left of Mars's atmosphere and how did the atmosphere change in the past. This was the first topography-induced gravity wave ripples in the thermosphere study of any planet.
