HTC announces the appointment of a new CEO, who is a former executive from telecom giant Orange, 'Yves Maitre.' The current chief, Cher Wang, will step down while staying as the chairperson of the company. In a press release, Maitre said 'HTC will set out immediately to continue the transition from building the world's best consumer hardware to also building complete services around them to make them easy to manage & deploy.'
