Govt seeks WhatsApp's reply regarding spyware surveillance on Indian journos

WhatsApp recently acknowledged the spyware surveillance on Indian journalists and activists. However they refused to reveal the exact numbers. However, as many as 1,400 users got affected by this. In a statement, the ministry of Information Technology said that they are looking into the matter and they have asked WhatsApp to find more about the spyware attack that was sold by an Israel based company.
