The government is planning on developing an indigenous app and is in talks with tech experts and startups to work towards a video conferencing platform to replace Zoom, after it yesterday released an advisory related to privacy concerns with Zoom. IT and Communication Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday afternoon met officials and asked them to float offers to IT specialists, startups and others to develop the app.
